Partnering with the community to enhance the lives of our community’s homeless and less fortunate pets.
Partners of Pickens Pets (“POPP”) is a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit. POPP was formed in 2014 when its founder Judy Moody realized the many homeless and less fortunate pets in our community that desperately needed help. POPP supports these pets in need through fundraising to support vet care assistance, rehoming assistance, pet food and supplies for senior’s pets, and public awareness of the importance of responsible pet ownership.

Through the generous donations of POPP’s supporters and various fundraisers throughout the year, we assist needy pets of our community with desperately needed veterinary care.
Vet care assistance
Working with local veterinarians, POPP sponsors pets in need with spays or neuters, heartworm treatments, emergency surgeries, vaccinations and other medical needs.
Through our network of friends and social media, POPP assists with the rehoming of pets.
Pet food for Senior’s pets
Through drop off bins at selected local businesses, POPP collects pet food and supplies for our local senior citizen center to assist seniors with the care of their pets.
